drlava explains how you can use the USB sound card on easy-laze supporting software, he even has the laseroids in the list it has been tested on!
That's right. These games were a primary motivation for writing that driver

OK thanks but what exactly do I need too purchase and what do I then need to do to it once I have it please?
Not fully PC literate here so please, no techy stuff

I wish to give this a go as I cannot really afford an Easylase DAC and this is a good and, from what I hear, easy route to take.

EDIT - I have purchased the correction amp kit and downloaded what you have suggested, the EL drivers and the program.

Can you point me in the direction of a sutiable (easy to mod ) USB sound card please.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jim

chances are I won't get around to supporting more hardware - the project is dead in the water now - will be for another 6 months. This driver is an excellent initiative and so is the hardware!

If you search eBay for this:

External USB Sound Card PCI 6 Channel 5.1

You will find the one that everybody has been using.

You might also want to try out the LaserBoy application. That is what the sound card and LaserBoy Correction Amp was originally designed for.

Apparently some guy bought the same USB sound card as me, from AU, and I bought one from the UK, and he lives in the UK. We are almost cross shipping LOL !!1

    Andrew,
would you share the driver code with other so they can implement a similar driver for their own specific hardware? I was thinking of Carmanandgary who is using Moncha.
