I like the idea of popping them, not so keen on initially blowing them up. I'll be all out of puff after lugging the gear up all them stairs

idea: ( not sure if this will work but) get a crap old fogger and use that for fog filled baloons

I don't think a fogger would be able to output the necessary pressure to blow up balloons.
Nice idea though.

hey T thats an interesting idea .........thats could be really interesting effect , and provide some pretty spectacular video ...might be worth experimenting on the day ... i will bring lab coat :-)

*thinking * blow up with balloon pump hold half way , hold , push piped nozzle from foggy into ballon to add fog , continue blowing up with ballon pump .

*thinking * small air compressor , or one of the cheap jump start machines that have air compresor for tyres in em ...... !! theres an air input at side ... direct fog to input ! outputs in balloon .......... DING - one fogged up balloon

might be worth having a play with eh ?

Problem is with that is .... as soffie said foggers dont use high pressure only a fluid pump when you put the balloon on the pipe im guessing it would try and force everything back though the fluid .... still worth a try though .....

easy alternative ...... talc powder .... small funnel ....

use the funnel to put a bit of talc in each balloon before inflating

on a side note "filling things" reminded me of a works christmas party i went to 15 years ago, the food turned up and it was pretty crap ..... the veg was overcooked and soggy and the turkey was dry and crispy .....

anyway "for a bit of fun " me and my mate decided to doctor the party poppers .... we carefully removed the cap, took out the streamers and replaced them with some of the soggy vegatables .... then put the paper cap back and sneaked them back to the tables ...... then retired to the bar .....

I remember seeing the accountant later on that evening with mushy peas in his hair ..... not looking happy ...

Quite right...but blow up mattress (camping type) compressors will do!
I m sure Rob has one and I have a 12volt portable Power Pack with air tube for tyres, with mains back up, that would work !

Inhale the smoke Digest the mushy peas and talc .... a few hours later insert nozzle into rectum .... place ballon over nozzle .... filled and inflated at the same time
