    The settings in your software assume that the scanners have already been tuned. So, you need to tune the scanner with the test program. Then, you can load up some frames and adjust the software settings until they look the best. But don't try to do that with the ILDA test pattern because it will never look right. Just pick some normal image frames. You'll never get your software settings to the point where ever image is perfect so just set them so that most images look good.

    No I'm driving LazergraphDSP which shares same image/fonts/Cat formats as Phoenix. Actually I use Picture editor from Phoenix demo (older version with full ILDA import export and PIC save in newer version they locked those functions).8 gears you say?. Ha....LGDSP has 15 forward speed and 5 reverse and the most user unfriendly interface in the world. But once you get used to it nothing else will do. Not even Pangolin.

    The thing about those settings is that like new M5 it has a presets. And I never even though to play around with custom settings until now.
