Strange figure's distorsions under ILDA control

Hi All.
Finally I fixed my problem with CS-200 green ILDA!
A damn ground wire was missing between DAC Sub D output connector (pin 25) and laser housing.
Now device works fine by ILDA control
Let me just the time to take some pics and to post them...

So here I wanna tell a huge "Thank You" to all.

Hi all.
I'm happy like a kid while has just received his Crhristmas gift...

As I promised you... some pics about some test-figures on my *reborn* CS-200 green ILDA projector (not analogue) from Laserworld....

I post also a screenshoot in which you can see setting of laser devices.
I know pps aren't so high.... but CS-200 has only 20K max speed... I got best results at 13K and 18-20 degrees scan angle.
Laser head is 150mW (effective) @532nm, beam is 3mm/1mrad.

Photos are taken inside my studio-room and outside of it (night time), over a fir tree 20 meters far from my window. Camera is setted on 6-8 seconds of exposure.
I apologize for ugly quality of pics... Next time I'll do better..

I have exactly the same problems with my lasers.

Can you show a picture of how you fixed this problem.

I think the relevant part was this..

It would be easy if the projector had the 25 pin connector rather than the Cat5.

I can't see a way of doing it, without running an extra cable from the projector back to the DAC, which is going to be inconvienient to say the least.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I have connected pin 19, and pin 25, on the DAC.

This has solved the problem, but is it the correct way to do it.

It sounds like you have the same problem my DIY projector had when pin 25 was not connected to the DC "-" on the scanner power supply.

I do not think pin 19 to 25 is the correct solution, but, someone more knowlegable will confirm.

I'm not sure it's the right solution either, but it works.

I have spoken the the guys at laser world and they have been very helpful.

It is OK to connect pin 19 and 25, but problem is probably that the laser diode (green -) is not earthed to the projector housing.

This is not a big problem and is something that I have now fixed.
