    Default Tiesto

Some of our latest work was at Tiesto on Saturday.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7pWyzSXThQ&fmt=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MT365b4zzY&fmt=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr3zl6Nvfbg&fmt=18

Make any comments you feel on youtube pages good or bad, we like to get feedback, also click the rating stars.

Also watch out for those fat beam effects, they are very intersteding new things we started doing and people love em.

    Some comments so far:

" The convergency isnīt good on some of the lasers"
    " Divergence is off too"
    " Video quality is poor

First of all the divergences were controlled using DMX controlled collimator.

The convergences were all set before but they drifted with the heat and sound levels, we need to get some better filter and mirror mounts, any suggestions? We have there Thorlabs KMS/M. Thanks to PW for pointing that out.

The video quality, yes we know, we keep thinking to buy a few high qiality cameras but considering we burnt many CCD's already, prefere to use low quality 200 euro units.

Anyway, we added this message for general interest, we arent shouting out WOW look at what we did, more to give ideas to others and to get some feedback to improve.

Just edited this after seeing how many mistakes i made.

I like your version of beam-brush , nice to more effectively use the light , bigger beams do better in the smoke.

I also like knocking the convergence off.

Maybe some scanned graphics, as the video wall is lame. Add some bounce mirrors?

Excellent, and much better then the standard rave look.

Those FAT beams look great! I like how the blend of the projectors worked, without the big lights it gave the illusion of the area being bigger

Default My experiences with Tiesto's crew

    First off... AWESOME SHOW Andy!

When he was at my club in Dec 2007, bart his tour manager said no, Tiesto did not want to see any lasers that night! Then on the next tour in mid summer 2008 bart said no again.. (of course my box was down with a dead Maxxy module and I hired in Krushbeams out of Kentucky to come in.. ) Once bart saw Amanada the little hottie that runs Krushbeams he instantly said ok... but he required she ran in from stage right insteads of our lighting location (he was at stage right all night) LOL! So Tiesto had an RGB box that night based on bart liking the girl...go figure! It's still rock and roll!

Nice comment but we are far from what Hugo can do. We dream to be even close or to even have 20% of the amount of equipment he has.

Equipment was LivePro, QMnets, various projector types of caniblised bits and bats.

Well from my perspective that puts you definitely in the same league as hugo
But I'm really curious about what power you use to achieve this effect. Could you perhaps elaborate on that?
