I'm too used to sniping ebay!
Lasers and beer don't mix. After 2 beers I lose coherence.

I think I've made my mind up about how I intend to use the money from the main prize draw. Will PM you details but I'm going to address the issue of the power deference between my two projectors and then the out casted CNI laser can go into the laser harp.

And thanks to Bridge for your contribution to the prizes for the meet of which I was a geat benifactor of.

Just a final word in this thread to say Carl chose as his prize a laserwave 300mW 532nm which arrived from bridge today. I have tested it and its reasonably hot - I have seen it peak during warm up to a massive 420mW which is 40% over spec.
Congratulations once more Carl, I hope you continue this thread or start a new one showing the installation of the laser into your projector.

As soon as it lands I'l get the photos posted including some of it next to my hot 260mW CNI. Rob has set up a pot on the new laser wave so I can match the output of the CNI when they are working together but a bypass switch will let my go to full power when I need it. In the long run I hope to get a second 300mW laser wave head for the other projector.

Bring on the next meet and the prize draw.

There may be a move to ban you from the draw in future - only to give everyone a fair chance
