PS I would prefer to leave Jims rear end out of this conversation - its making me uncomfortable, conversley I bet it makes Jim very comfortable.

I managed to find a little time to start work on fitting my new Laser Wave head to my projector. I've removed the CNI from the projector and discovered a new set of holes need drilling for mounting the head. Then when I get to fit the laser, then I have to realine the Dicro as the output of the laser beam is 4mm higher than the CNI.

To get this laser fitted it's almost like starting from Scratch again as things like the scanner amps have had to be removed for drilling the new holes for the laser. Theres a set sequence for fitting everything into the case.

Just discovered my camera batterys are dead so i'l post photo's of my progress when there charged. (I hope your not still crying Soforene. )

It's subsided to the occasional sigh accompanied by a trembling bottom lip.

I've been off work ill for most of this week so it's given me chance to get this new Laser Wave head fitted to my projector. Photo's of laser fitted below.

You may have noticed the triangular shaped plastic at the front of the laser for redirecting the air that is blown out from below the appature away from the Dicro mirror and scanners.

Being so impressed with this new laser I've decided to buy a second one for the other projector. "two 300mW lasers to play with. NICE." Sorry, just slipped into a day dream for a moment there.

Soforene! Please don't start crying again when you get to view these photo's.

great works Carl, good to see there were no real problems replacing the cni.

Of course the second one will be even better!
