Hi all
Just a quick msg to say sorry I was only on a short visit to the meet yesterday. I had intended spending the full day there but as most of you know my wife was admitted to hospital early on Saturday with a quite serious kidney condition.
There was some doubt as to whether I would be able to get to the meet at all, but fortunately due to a (very) understanding wife and assistance form our Mum's I was 'released' for a short while. This meant that I was unable to spend quite as much time as I had hoped talking to people and learning about LivePRO from Mark. Anyway, it was great to see everyone again. There was some great kit there, I just loved that 445nm blue from Martin's (Pelosh) projector. Rob, your SP168 was beautiful as always (but I understand there's now a water shortage in Leicester
), and Jim... your display of argons and HeNe's was superb!
So, once again, sorry for not being there to help set up as I had promised, and sorry I couldn't stay to help clear up at the end of the day. It was a very short but superbly entertaining few hours I spent there.
On the 'up' side, my wife's condition seems to be improving slightly and i'm hopeful she may be allowed home in the next couple of days
.
Cheers
Jem
