I got home at about 23.15 and had to unload tonight. can't leave my gear in the car with parking on the street.

What a fantastic day and thanks for all your complamentary comments about my laser harp. The video footage should be interesting to see.

I dunno what it is about Leiecster - but playing with lasers there always makes me very very tired.
Thanks all for turning up and continuing the tradition of top class UKLEM.

PS must get them JM Jarre tunes out my head as well as desires for something around the 447 mark
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

    Hi all

Just a quick msg to say sorry I was only on a short visit to the meet yesterday. I had intended spending the full day there but as most of you know my wife was admitted to hospital early on Saturday with a quite serious kidney condition.

There was some doubt as to whether I would be able to get to the meet at all, but fortunately due to a (very) understanding wife and assistance form our Mum's I was 'released' for a short while. This meant that I was unable to spend quite as much time as I had hoped talking to people and learning about LivePRO from Mark. Anyway, it was great to see everyone again. There was some great kit there, I just loved that 445nm blue from Martin's (Pelosh) projector. Rob, your SP168 was beautiful as always (but I understand there's now a water shortage in Leicester ), and Jim... your display of argons and HeNe's was superb!

So, once again, sorry for not being there to help set up as I had promised, and sorry I couldn't stay to help clear up at the end of the day. It was a very short but superbly entertaining few hours I spent there.

On the 'up' side, my wife's condition seems to be improving slightly and i'm hopeful she may be allowed home in the next couple of days .

    Cheers

    Jem
