Is there such thing as a Krypton Ion laser? Without the argon?

Even though most people find red as dull, boring or whatever, IT'S MY FAVOURITE COLOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried this by just holding the mirror in my fingers... I actually got the yellow line to flash! I was reflecting the green back into the OC end. Obviously I couldn't make the yellow sustain because I was holding the mirror (maybe with a bit less caffeine )

I dont have any mounts here (thats why I resorted to the finger method)

I would just get quick little blips where the green would disappear and the output was a nice yellowish color, but only a very quick flash

yepper - krypton 647.1 & 647 red, but they will do more with the right optics.

Think about this...Theoretically ANYTHING that will fluoress will lase under the right parameters. Jack Daniels produces a brown beam
