Wow, just makes me wish I could afford an RGB projector, even TTL. You can't imagine how much I drool over Laserworld Pro 500 mw's on ebay.

However, my circumstances mean its going to be a cheap Chinese RGY for me. £200-250's about my limit.

Nice job on the shows guys. I especially liked the Star Wars one.

BTW, what were the specs of the lasers used?

Did you saturate the video at all or are the colours exactly as recorded?

The colors are real as far as I know. In fact, the lasers looked a lot better in person than they do on the video. You can hear people going "WOW!" and "COOL!" on the tape while the shows were running. It really was amazing.

As for the comment about it being hot in the room - no, not really. The building has a large air conditioning system, so it was comfortable all day despite the fact that we had a whole pile of equipment set up and running on-stage.

And yeah, we set the fire alarm off a couple times. Darn fog machines! Eh - it happens. Fortunately they disabled the part that automatically calls the fire department for the duration of the event.

As for the power of the lasers - that's hard to state exactly because there were so many projectors, but the RGB rigs were mostly in the 400mw to 700 mw output power range (all lines). Likewise, the two beam rail projectors (mobolasers) were making 3 watts of green each. (Don't think anyone has posted any video of those yet.)

Hope to see even more new faces at SELEM next year!
