Next year I'll put a little more effort into stopping by and meeting everyone and their equipment if they are willing. I also think this would have been a good thing to add to the DVD. Next year I'll plan a little better.

I actually did have some footage of the equipment and people on stage but decided to pull it from the final DVD, here's why.

First off, very crowded, their were people, tables, wires, cables and equipment everywhere. This made it way too hard to walk around filming. I was definitely not interested in bumping into something causing a domino effect of expensive equipment and projectors and have an angry mob chase me down.

Second, the camera works great on a tripod but not so good in my hands. I may have Parkinson's or something!

Third, I was way too busy having fun! I was hard pressed to get time to film while running around starting shows and watching presentations. I just happened to luck out thanks to Steve Roberts AKA, MixedGas who started and stopped my camera between shows. It was two very busy and extremely fun days.

The torrent is exactly the same as the DVD. Just burn it on a disk and you have exactly what everyone here in the states got. Minus the label ofcourse.

I haven't seen the dvd yet because i havn't recieved it or it didn't got send out :-(

I tried following the presentation that MIXEDGAS gave via the livestream.
I have send Mixedgas a PM asking if onyone filmed his presetation, but he didn't even reply to the PM.. maybe a "over the pond" newbee isn't worthwhile :-)

Get in touch with Rob (Stanwax) and see if he's got copies of the DVD's from SELEM. There is the one that 300Evil made, and then there are 3 more that Allthatwhichis made. Those three have some of the technical presentations on them. I was pretty sure that Rob was going to be the contact for the European members. (If it was someone else, please speak up!)

I doubt it. More likely that Steve doesn't know if anyone filmed it or not. He was too busy giving the presentation. And yeah, the live feed didn't work out all that well for his presentation. We had connection issues off and on throughout the day.

I don't think anyone recorded his presentation on optics/cleaning. I suppose I could have missed it, but I kept moving around because I couldn't sit still at that point and I didn't see a camera anywhere.

Sad too, that was one of my favorite parts of SELEM.

Um, I hate to say it, but I am 90% certain the optics cleaning did not get filmed. It was late in the "day", and some of us got back into watching shows.

I did not film it as I was capturing the "history if ILDA" footage onto my PC while Steve was presenting, and we were using Adam's web cam to broadcast us taking requests and watching shows. I am not sure about the locations of the other camera.

Evil Adam,

There are no seeders for the Torrent.
I tried to download the torrent on another machine (i don't like the torrent software on my main machine)
I mostly use Pay newservers...

I will ask Rob, but want to hold it as last option.
He didn't volnteer to be the EUro distr point for the dvd.
Jem was.. i contacted him twice...maybe he didn't had the time to reply

Steve was busy with his presentation so maybe he didnt see cams :-) (the audio stream sure sounded interesting)
Thats ok... but i don't undestand why he didn't bother to reply to my PM.
Almost Everyone i PM on this forum reply's even if they don't know the anwser or cant help me.

I'm not going to whine about it... Sh#T happens.
