    I can't find them at the moment. It was Robin, I think, that had the hand-held CO2 laser. It was at one of the earlier UKLEM's... Maybe one of the UK members can point us to the picture.

    It was a cool looking unit though. Battery powered, and it even had a small water reservoir to cool the tube. I think he said he could run it for something like 30 seconds before he had to switch it off. (Otherwise the water would overheat and start to boil.)

    And yeah, this is a very old thread. Back from the dead now!

    Steve, the tube you see is the CO2 tube; I don't think you can see the HeNe tube well.
