I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!
If you go into system settings, [Tab], you can set a different value for option '3' longest optimized vector in points.
Now when you go into menu 'h' and apply option 'j' add distance span, you will be dividing all of the vectors up into parts of equal size, with a distance of no more than the number you set for longest optimized vector in points. Keep in mind that it does the math so that the new vertices are spread equally from one end of the vector to the other. So they will either be equal to or less than longest optimized vector in points.
NOTE: This is option 'j' only in version 08-31-2008 and on. Previously it was option 'i'.
Now that your drawing is nicely, evenly distributed with vertices, you can do all kinds of neat coloring effects that work on vertices!
