I'll look into those effects here shortly...

Finally got my blanking issue sorted out, however it seams a little off...I believe it has to do with the wav form timing on my color channels. If I can remember how to do that haha Also looks like my scan angle is in need of some adjustment.

Feel free to chime in and let me know as I'm still new to this build your own projector thing

But hey, not to shabby for a 1st run with everything hooked up for the 1st time

Looks like your X and Y are swapped at the very least.

Hey! How about scanning a recognizable frame from LaserBoy!

haha that goes back to an earlier conversation we had regarding the ilda test pattern and laserboy. Figured I'd give you a little guff about it

I'll be posting more pictures here shortly, unfortunatly my laptop has that blue screen deal going on right now. Silly thing, I told it not to look directly into the beam

The coolest thing I added to LaserBoy this time is the bitmap mask functions.

Now you can make a square bitmap file and use it to mask off the colors of the vectors!

This means that you can make a white square with a black spot in the middle. When you open this as a mask, the laser will be black where that black spot is.

    You can also do gradients...

AND the effect is in 24-bit RGB, so you can "subtract" energy from the red, green and blue color planes independently. This makes for some really neat ways to get WAY more color variations.

    James.
