Why would you have any questions about opening this file?

Don't know... No idea... just for fun.

Are people from Pang and Mamba be able to open Laserboy files or not yet? If yes did you test it?

If the frames you save from LaserBoy are palette and they all use the standard 62 color palette, then no one should have any problem opening them. You can test this by opening them in Anarchy.

The real question is did you get the latest version of LaserBoy and do you know about main menu option 'u', toggle option 'k' save as bad ilda format?

That will set LaserBoy to save ILDA data as either section 4 or 5, which is the "current" revision that saves 24 bit color information to file.

That's what really needs to be tested about the new version of LaserBoy!

This is not really a test of the new 24 bit features of LaserBoy. These colors are in the standard palette!

Make something with the DXF palette and a BUNCH of colors (and don't best match it). Save that as ILDA sections 5 (2D 24 bit). At least you will know that your exact RGB selections from the DXF palette are correct. Beyond that.... There are only two ways to create a 24 bit color frame from LaserBoy (at the moment...). One is to use a 24 bit bitmap as a color map. The other is to promote a frame to 24 bit color and re-color enough vertices different colors from different palettes to add up to more than 256! Or you can open a LaserBoy compatible wave and see what you get!
