I am a new member based in Sydney, currently in Illawong.

I recently bought two 2.5watt full colours and just bought Pangolin Quickshow. Was amazed at what the program could do but looking to do more design work. Been advised to use LivePro.

Also want to work towards building my own projector and upgrading my own.

Yeah we were chatting at Monster mash, very much an inspiring gig that led to buying the 2.5's. Had them out last weekend for the first time and was blown away!

Remind me what were in the ones from monster?

RGB 2.5 Watt
-40 kkps scanners at 30degrees.

-1500mw 650nm
-500mw 532nm
-500mw 447nm - Will be upgrading to 1.5watt soon also 447nm.

I have just moved back to NZ after 30 years and brought back my lasers
2 x 1w green
1 x 2W Analogue RGB
1 x 5 W Analogue RGB

I am familiar with Quickshow. Live Pro you will need to buy a license and install in the software root. If you want to use it with WinAMP install the older versions as it does not work with 5.01 and above. For real design work get LD 2000.

Hey Guys,

MrZee here from Sydney. Recently finished building a (very green skewed) RGB projector. (DHOM 1.5W 532, LW 350mW 637, Lasever 1.3W 450). So far have been lurking on LPF but as the laser bug is biting more and I have many upgrades planned I thought I'd join here.

Used outdoors a few times and also recently at an ad-hoc warehouse night.

Always interested in meeting other people into this
