has anyone managed to connect thiei phone to their laptop?
i have an iphone but am unsure of what im doing?
what app do you use? ive install wifi touchpad but you cannot see the computer screen on the iphone you can only move the mouse?

ok finally got things working by disabelling the firewall full stop.
but question.
im currently connect through my wireless router to my laptop.
if i was out in the field doing a laser show i wouldnt be connected to a wireless router. can i still connect the iphone to the laptop?

Andy: There used to be an iPhone tethering app, but it got pulled down from the iTunes site. However Apple are planning to release their own tethering app soon, so it would be legit.
EDIT: Just re-read your post. I thought you meant to use the internet connection. Use VNC Lite (on iTunes app store) works dead well.
Jem: Are you still having problems with your XDA? I've got the exact same setup, and used the remote desktop for another app. Let me know if you want a hand to get it working.

Can't you do this with any wifi enabled phone or device? An iPod Touch should work shouldn't it?![]()
