    Cool

I've got an 8 port switch, but that's not going to do us any more good than the 80 port switch will. We need a *router* to be able to connect everyone to the Internet. Otherwise all we have is a LAN...

    Cool

    Sorry to hear that, Josh...

Next meet will probably be in February or March - depending on participation and venue availability. Of course, SELEM 2009 is still on for the second weekend in August.

    Frank:

The Linksys router will be fine! Just need something to get us all on the 'net...

Smile OneStopLaserShop.com sponsoring lunch at FLEM!

    Hey folks!

Just got off the phone with Amanda from OneStopLaserShop.com... Somehow I failed to send them an e-mail about the upcoming FLEM, so unfortunately both Amanda and Fred have plans for this weekend and thus will not be able to attend. (I need to check my e-mail list, because they used to be on it... Don't know how this happened.)

But the good news is that Steve Roberts *did* contact them, and even though they won't be able to attend FLEM, they've volunteered to donate nearly $80 towards buying lunch for everyone on Saturday! (WOOT!)

I didn't know this, but every time someone orders something from OneStopLaserShop.com and they mention that they're from the PhotonLexicon group, they get an automatic 10% discount on the price of the order, *plus* another 10% gets set aside to help support laser enthusiast meetings! How cool is that?

So - what does everyone want for lunch? I'm betting that it would be fairly easy to have pizza delivered, if that suited everyone...

    Cool

Well, what do you guys want to do? I could use the money to buy a couple MM1's or something from OneStopLaserShop.com, and we could give those away as door prizes...

    Whatcha think?

Hmm, maybe give some to Aaron for the cost of the lasagna, order 2 or 3 pizzas and some drinks. Then we'd have a nice variety of food to choose from!
