Darn - seems that a lot of folks had conflicts this time... Oh well; we'll still have a great time. I just finished packing up the Jeep. Sheesh! Once again the thing is crammed to the top. I really need to get a larger vehicle... (Don't worry though - I found room for the humidor, so we'll have cigars!)

Got the HGM5 in there too, so with any luck we can play with it some... Also brought the usual collection of tools and stuff. Still need to get the tripod in there somehow, plus a small duffel for my clothes!

Just a quick note to say that I hope you all have a really great meet

I'm so p*ssed off that i'm not going to be able to make it. As I said before, so near and yet so far . I land in Miami at 5:30pm (Miami time) on Saturday and we're being transferred straight to the Hotel.

Really sorry about that Jeremy... I wish we could have worked something out. But even if you rented a car and drove straight from Miami, you wouldn't get to Orlando until around 10 PM. We'll probably be winding down by then.

Yeah, I got my HGM5 lasing (had to replace a ribbon cable), but now there's another problem. The current control is maxed out all the time, so I can't idle it down. I'm hoping that we'll have some time to tinker with it at FLEM. If I get really courageous, I might try to hack the PSU to remove all the computer control stuff. Only worry is that if I screw it up, I loose the PSU. I've got schematics though, so we'll see.

Sorry guys... Hayden will not be able to make it. He's tied up with another project and won't be able to get away.

As for Doug and Laserlink - I have no idea...

It's all good though. We'll have time to tinker some more this time around! I'll have my HGM5 that we can play with, plus the touch screen running LivePro... Oh, and I've got a few doodads for Paul and DZ to fool with as well.

BTW - anyone up for drinks afterwards? Paul said he knows of a nice place just a couple blocks away from the venue... Any takers? (I'm in!)
