    Could be a false positive.

Notice how its onyl identified it as a generic variant rather than as a named virus? That usually means the file has a fingerprint similar to a virus - it may or may not actually be one and requires further checking.

Someone else can take a look also. What AV are you using?

You could also submit a copy to your AV company for detailed analysis and checking.

Its not a false positive, its someone trying to infect you and your children with the new super aids (no offense to any HIV positive members, just using it as a cultural reference)

I noticed one of your tabs shows you were viewing my thread on the "Free Pangolin Beam Show". Was that possible virus on my "Crazy Train" download?
    Thanks!

Ah! I missed that because it was in big bold letters right in front of me!

Anyway, yikes! looks like we definitely need private passwords or some other system. I'm sure there are crackpots out there launching viruses on FTP servers.

    Default admin

i have pm'ed admin but i dont know how often he checks in
he maybe able to apply a virus scan to all incoming files
he could change the pass word and only give it to those who ask providing they agree not to post it on pl but then the muppet who put on the virus
could ask for it and get it so that idea wont work
we shall see what admin comes up with
