is it a "lab" style laser, tec cooled?

lab style yes but not tec cooled.
here is a picture of james's setup i have now recently upgraded the heat sink to a new design which i think is much better
(this is just the diode module and heatsink, power and driver not pictured)

NICE pic!
No I haven't pointed it into scanners yet.
I have to get a hunk of Aluminum.
I made another trade for an analog red.
I'm wating for it to be built.
Now that I have some dichros, all I need is an analog mod greenie!
It's going to be so much fun to be able to play with RGB anytime I want to.
I almost never fire up my Argon.I just can't see wasting the tube by turning it on and off for short periods of time.

what color is your argon?
thats exciting to get the red already coming! whats the plan for green?
-Josh
My Argon gives me 519 green, 488 cyan, 476 blue. The blue is pretty weak. I get my 632 red from a HeNe. It's all modulated with a 4ch PCAOM. And it's all better since it all got tweaked up at SELEM by mixedgas and DZ.
Do you have a good choice for a greenie?
James.![]()
i would say a greeny from laserwave.
i love mine
-Josh
Thanks. I'll take a look!
Here's a noob question...
Are these dichros coated on one side or both sides? Is there a wrong way to put these mirrors into these mounts?
Thanks!
James.
PS. I examined them closely and I could not tell the difference from one side to the other. So I went ahead and put them in the mounts.
These things are pretty!![]()

Now that you mention it, on closer exmination, it looks like one side of each one of these dichros has a more obvious ghost image of another color. I'm assuming that is the wrong side.
