    James, what are you using for tracing? In fact, to the group, what is a good trace alternative? I know there have been topics on this, but I am looking for something on the free route (aren't we all?)

    I use LaserBoy !!!

    It does NOT trace anything. YOU do!

    But it gives you a way to do it that is incredibly accurate, to-the-point and once you get it, FAST!

    Only you would find yet another gap in LaserBoy!

    LaserBoy does not currently support the DXF entity SPLINE.

    That is something I would LOVE to add!

    Thank you for this perfect example of a DXF SPLINE!

    IIRC, I would have no problem getting the coefficients from the DXF file, I've just not yet found the math to draw them in 3D space.

    well whatever you just said... can you fix it.. cuz thats how corel draw exports DXF

    That is because of the tool you selected to do your trace. You used a spline curve.

    Try using a polyline.
