here is another, i kind of got the process down...
prety easy between potrace, corel suite, and laserboy... i can make cool frames in like 5 min
the breakdancer one has a bunch of cool frames...
so does the dance one

my question is do they scan....
i would gladly try if my projector wasnt down at the moment

so i need to make em less points....
these may be a little better, check em out
and here are the dancers optimized with less points
You definitely have the right idea!
I would say this though...
When your tracer follows around a curve, it puts in TONS of points; which makes a great looking curve, but slows the scanners down to a crawl.
Scanners automatically MAKE a curve out of a few well placed points.
If you use LaserBoy to render DXF, you can preset the arc step (in degrees). So when it needs to render a circle or ellipse, it knows how to break it up into discrete, equal-angle points.
[Tab] system settings
option '6' DXF arc step in degrees
This would also apply to splines, if I knew the math to render them!

ok if that is set to 6.00 and i "h,k" my art, am i OK?
