Well, it's white there because the camera is saturated. The reflection from the baseplate gives a better idea of the actual color. Either way, using this combination of powers and wavelengths shouldn't give white light, unless you turn the green down a lot.

It's nice to see that the combined beam's color is close to what I predicted though, which looks like this converted to sRGB (the point is slightly outside of the sRGB gamut though):

Are the lasers running in CW mode? Have you measured their power?

Bridge: I suspect you tune your lasers for full power use. This might not be optimal for our purposes, as we almost exclusively run them with (analog) modulation. They should be tuned for this.

they were running CW, to get white the powers would need to be adjusted.

but its not a big issue, i knew this when i chose the lasers

i would need lots and lots of red and blue to match 1watt of green

    Hi Andy,
thanks for your very well suggestions, they will keep in my mind.
    1) find one more soft cable for easy working, we had find long time here in Beijing, sorry for not find it, we will consider asking supplier do it special for us later.
    2) will change our hole and give enough room for bolt the screw.
thanks for your kindly reply, Andy, great man! niceful pictures.
    Best regards!

Yep, you would indeed need a whole lot. Enough to end up with a 8W projector. It's nice to have a little extra green though.

How does my little colored circle compare to the beam color in real life?

    Hi Tocket,
I promise, all of laserwave's products are using lower current than supplier marked used current.
we know there is not only power, but also lifetime, it is also very important.
Just as I said, much improvement than before unit, trust me, mate, after ourself strictly test, maybe we'd like who with well reputation interesting test this unit for all of us, .
    Best regards!

    That's really nice Andy!

It looks like you could have placed the scanners in the center of the base plate, instead of the side.
Why did you choose to put it where it is now? (i'm just curious )

cough cough - slight error on my part.

i had the hole cut in the lid so had to place the scanners in line with the hole.

granted it doesnt look great but it makes no odds to the end result

I don't know what the logistal problems were with the cable fitting but another alternative to a more flexible cable might be a 90 degree plug.
