I recently came into a big chunk of carbon, I will bandsaw you off a piece no charge, as I got it for free, but I'm being extremely fiscally conservative right now, So I'll charge you for shipping.. 2" x 2" by 3" Shipping will be $4.75. I have to bandsaw off this part anyways, so you might as well have it.

Awesome! Just tell me how much you need for shipping and I'll send it on over.

Yeah, but Steve is broke and unemployed at the moment. There's a difference.

Hard to believe too, since he's one of the most qualified people I know. Overqualified, even. Heck, he could do most laser tech support jobs in his sleep! Yet for some reason he can't find a company (or university) that will pay him what he's worth. Sigh.

In fairness, I did say he was "one of" the most qualified people I know. No disrespect towards you intended... But yeah, there are more than a few highly qualified PL members out on the street right now.

This job market just plain sucks - no matter where you are or what industry you're in.

Funny you should mention that, I would like to move back...but I cant afford to buy a house there. I left Sunnyvale in 1991 and sold my 60 year old 3/2 for $239K, I went back through at Christmas time 2007 and it was for sale again, i pulled the sheet on it.....$585,000. so in hind site...I should have stayed. I have heard of people that work in silicon valley and commute from Modesto.

Be Ready Ben...When I come back down, I'm gonna visit you
