    Commercial lamps arent too bad, wh have a load in the warehouse at work. I was directing my post more towards things like MSD250, HMI575 and MSR1200, which are a whole different story.

    I have a 25 watt HID flashlight (comes in really useful for photography, since it has the same spectrum as daylight) and it's incredibly bright. Amazing to think how much light is coming out of that tiny capsule. Of course my flashlight has proper UV filtering on it which makes it that much safer- and yes, I have checked it
