If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Who ever said weather reports were accurate.
Just thought I would pass it on.

Half tempted to take my lasers to the model club tonight which looks onto a large enclosed yard.

Hi not really foggy here - but is is so cold the trees are covered in thick fost making them quite reflective.
Attached is rather poor picture (looked much better in RL) - of bird projected on to trees on the hill behind the house (approx 100-150 yards).
It was so cold I couldn't be bothered to set up a tripod!
Interestingly (and annoying) is whst appear to be several damaged pixels - they are same position on several shots - presumably caused by photographing lasers Reagards, David.

laser damaged pixels tend to show up as fuzzy grey blobs on brighlty lit images - similar to dirt on the ccd. The light pixels here are natural dead pixels in the ccd (nothing is perfect) that increase with age show & up when taking pix in the dark. In light conditions these dont show up as easily as light pixels on a light background are hard to spot!
