    Default My first RGB!!!!

I promised to shear some light on my Plans for building my first RGB.
At the moment i,m building a white cartoonlaser with analog modulation.
i have already a easylase dac and a set of raytrack35,s thanks to jochim.
I,m thinking of buying the following lasers:

Red 640nm 400mw or 700mw from medialas or Kvant 600mw)
    green 532nm 200mw or 300mw (suggestions? laserwave perhaps? )
    blue 473nm 200mw or 250mw ( suggestions?)

I picked the red because of the beam specs and the brightness altough
650nm is nicer red but in my opinion the beams are too fat .I,m curious about matching the blue with the red
because 250mw is a lot of money. I think 457nm is better for a blue
but for me that is to expansive

Can anyone give me some advice on the colorbalance for both outputs to get a nice clear white?
And does someone knows how much the rgb modules costs from RGB laser? That would be great!!!

Your power levels should be fine. So long as you stick to your plan to buy lasers that support analog modulation you'll be able to tweak the color balance to suit your personal preference.

Have you started building this projector yet? If so - remember to take pictures of the build process! (We like pictures! )

of course i will make some pictures! I,m still busy with getting the
parts. I chose for the green a viasho 500mw green and i,m thinking to get
for red a 600mw of red at 642nm. The case comes from axxatronic and i,m still looking for a reasonable priced breadbord I,m not going to buy blue for now because..... yep you know it....... pricing Ihave an easylase but i,m going to sell it because i,m a beginner so still thinking about getting fiesta or La freak. Any suggestions on breadbord would be great.

Why did you chose Viasho over Laserwave?

The breadboad shouldn't be a problem in holland.
There are alot of Machineshops that sell alluminium.
Do you really need the plate drilled and taped at 1" intervals?
Why not a nice 8 or 10mm baseplate and dril/tap only the spots where you need it?

    Cool

I second Anthony's suggestion to purchase a bare metal plate and drill the holes as you go. Much easier, in my opinion. (Not to mention cheaper!) With a pre-drilled table, it seems that you always have to drill extra holes anyway.

Or build platforms and drill holes into them.

    Cool

At the power levels he's planning for his projector, heat is not an issue. Size the tables so they are 2 inches larger than the laser and he'll be just fine.
