Get a PCAOM and a small multi line argon... and well make a projector. That is a very nice, abit large, HeNe.

I always wondered what Spectral made those for, did they ever tell you who buys them?

Step by step..... Answers for all...

    @ *Carl B*..... naughty boy...
@ *GooeyGus*... I wish to sell it ... but..... what about shipping safety? From Italy to U.S.A..... I bet you would receive a lot of small pieces of glass instead a HeNe tube
@ *Stuka*.... from Italian Navy to U.S.A.F. Strike Helicopter Group....Buddy... You are always thinking *military way* Yeah!
@ *allthatwhichis*... It should be a too bulky and too "fragile" setup to move and then how much would cost me this sort of upgrade? A lot I think....
    @ *... You're welcome Mate!
@ *mixedgas*... I bought the laser tube directly from the boss at Spectral's factory (it is only 2 hours drive from me). They sell their products to physiotherapist and Medical Centers (especially CO2 lasers). I think they make (maybe) the largest HeNe tube in the whole Europe.

Who said move... I was thinking "add to" and leave it in the "car box" for a projector when you are... out there for any reason I guess. I would think the PCAOM would be the biggest cost. Surely that beast needs a friend.

considering a decent 35 mW 633 nm diode is 300 dollars or more, I';d hang onto the spectral.
I've seen 225 mW of hene before, but the 200 mW SP weights in about 250 pounds and is five foot long and needs a power supply the size of Ireland. Its almost exactly the size of a 171 large frame ion laser. That orange red has to be beautiful in a haze.

Awe damn, the FDA/CDRH is not a big fan of red light accupuncture type medical therapy , I won't be finding one of those around here.

I'd love to see that tube refitted with yellow optics, that would be about 25 mW of 594.

I'm curious, if you run it through the grating does a tiny amount of 614 or 620 nm lase?

I tried with a grating mirror given me from Bridge.
    Color remains the same. Absolutely.
We all know for sure that HeNe has a tiny amount of yellow-orange inside it, but I always seen only..... red @ 632.8nm

Following pics are for better spec about real color and PSU dimensions.

p.s. PSU is not so huge (like Ireland)......Its dimensions are more than reasonable

    All the best.

    +1

There you go, re-fit it with yellow optics.
