i had to really think about putting the photo's on the forum.

Being 100% honest, the build quality is right up there with the better laser builders here

Agreed, Dave... That projector is *awesome* for a first-build! Very compact and very neat. Also, the layout is unique with the lasers suspended below the table like that. Cool!.

Good work, Anthony! Can't wait to see your larger projector!

Did you put an insulative layer between the pcb and the alu plate? If not I would really suggest you do. (since the pcb contains mains traces)

    Nice build nonetheless

from the picture that I see..
I would have suggested to put some more stability on the laser mounts ?

It seems like they only is hold by the 4 screws on the corners..
Does it not goes out of align of the galvos ?

Great job Anthony, So well thought out and executed. I like the attention to detail, cable runs etc. Truly a self build - I am actually suprised you did not make the lasers too! All the best, David.

    I haven't had problems yet.....
But i do think this isn't a projector to use as a mobile drive-in disco even if it had the power.

Its pritty solid but a 8mm or 10mm base and table would have been better that the 6mm it has now.
The 4 post are 11cm high and pritty solid.

I think it needs a small enclosure because the lasers run to cold.
The dpss green doesn't reach its operating temp.
    i know it sounds strange.

It would also protect the projector better.
