A few pics from Mumbai

I went for a long walk in Mumbai this morning, mostly off the beaten track in search of anything interesting, perhaps even a hackerspace. I found some places that could well be hackerspaces!!! A local DJ shop, electronic repair shop, hardware, metalwork shop, battery shop, plus your typical run of the mill chicken shops

So, I picked up a hunk of steel, 3 chickens, a car battery, had my TukTuk chassis welded, played a round of cricket with the boys and picked up a new turntable.

Hi Kit, the workshop guys were punching out plates, not sure what for. I didn't enter the workshop, the pic was taken from the sidewalk and was pretty small!!!

As today was a free day I managed to visit the 10th Century Kanheri Hindu Cave Monastery, an amazing place and well worth the hike to the top in 35c heat!

It appears white guys (especially snow white guys) are an attraction in India, I had a lot of photos taken with Indian families. I can just image, "look at this snow white guy we found" lol.
