I think the layout is a little different, but the circuit is essentially the same.

I see. Thanks for the help provided here
I will post again if I am stuck somewhere..

hey again, I completed assembling the driver on a protoboard and hooked the power supply. the led turned on, but the "test-led" which goes to the kathode and anode did not work. i am 99,9% sure that the connections are correct. Here are some pictures of it. I had to use a lot of jumpers and make up my mind where to connect everything since I didn't want to print it directly on pcb. took me a lot of hours.Where do you think is the problem?

Having trouble following all those wires.
I think I still have one made up on a breadboard. Will try to take a pic later tonight if I didn't tear it back down for something else.
I'd be interested to see a strip/vero board photo if anyone has one. My electronics skills are very very rusty since school. Would be much easier to copy a working version from someone.
Cheers
Rich
Anyone cares to make a schematic on a protoboard for the more "noobie" ones( I am one of those)? That would be greatly appreciated..
We moved recently. It is in a box somewhere......
Will try to find it soon and take pics soon.
ok I know this is odd but if I wanted to run this with a -5v-0 mod input (-5 being full brightness) could I just invert the +/- on IC1A?
mophead, did you manage to find the schematic yet?
