Well, that's at least 'heading in the right direction'

Yes, you are correct - you'd just need to make sure they were all matched, and match your PCAOM-block to that orientation... BUT:

Dave (thanks, Dave! ) makes a good point - you mentioned you want to use this with '457/473/532', well, you will certainly have pretty-poor 'efficiency', since as I recall (sorry, don't have a 4-ch in front of me, right now...guys, please feel-free to 'help', here... ) the 4 'standard' channels are gonna-be optimized for 476, 488, 528 and 647 (more along the lines of an Ar/Kr 'pallete'...Oh, and a 'by-pass' for 633, for HeNe...) So, yeah...

Good Suggestion...(...thanks Aaron! ) ALTHOUGH, I don't recollect ever seeing a '532' channel - maybe a 530, out there, somewhere, but not in a NEOS, that I am aware of...

They also make a '6-Channel' driver, that most-likely has support for more 'Argon' lines, so you MIGHT hit your 457 better, but I think 473 and 532 will still likely be pretty 'lossy'...

I know, dude, I know.. and believe me - not tryin to give you a 'hard time' but I am sure you and I both will appreciate 'measuring twice / cutting once' on this - I sure don't wanna have to try and field a 'return' from Austria, if you're not happy with it, dig?
Just tryin to give you food for thought / be helpful... I'd still vote for going 'direct' but you certainly know your particular lasers better than I do!!

Lemme see if we have any 6-channel boxes we could let-go-of, and if-so, what 'lines they are passin' these days, Cool?

6 channel would be perfect. Isn't there a tunable PCAOM out there?

    Thanks, Lex!

So, yeah - looks like a 6-ch would prolly have you 'covered' better than a 4, cause looking at the 'standard' freq. covered by the 8-ch, I'd bet the only lines you 'lose' (going to a 6) would be 676 red and 568 yellow (which, you obviously don't need anyway...) But it does look like you'd be covered better for your 473-line, by 'tweeking' the 476-pot a bit... And you could prolly do 'ok' with your 532-line by tweeking the the 520 crystal - but CAREFULLY... all such-'tuning' is really best-done with an O-Scope and a proper RF watt-meter...

I'll see if I can check on which exact freq's are 'typically' covered by the 6-ch and let ya know... I won't be able to get to it for a couple days, but I'll do my best..

    ciao...

I have 1 full set of A.A - OE PCAOM. It's fully tunable 6 channels (can be 8 with mods) range from 450 to 700nm. Made in France. Price is 1300$ USD.
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

I'd take the Dr's deal excellent price, and very good product... ...Besides, he can most-likely get it out to you sooner than I can get to our NEOS stuff...

...Go on, take it, man!!! But thanks for your PM, anyway...
