Default Help with adding 405nm diode to scanner

    Hi all!

I'm working on building my first laser scanner. As always, cost is a premium. Because of this, I am looking into starting out RGV instead of RGB, then upgrading somewhere down the road. I have a 150mw red and 50mw green already, both with TTL modulation.

I see that there are many blu ray diodes and drivers available out there, but my question is this: Where can I find a diode/driver setup that supports TTL modulation for a blu ray laser?

It seems that everyone is basically using them for portable (laser pointer) purposes right now and the drivers are mostly constant. Is anyone selling a pre-built diode driver with blanking? If not, how hard would it be to add it myself?

    Thanks!

you should buy a phr-803t from andrew on this forum, a heatsink from me and a flexmod from dr. lava on this forum ndrew will probably put diode in a aixiz module

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt & selling it in a garage sale.

PM daedal; he built my blu-ray set up.
