hi ljk... we draw the red and the green diode with some schematics.. but the blu diode miss the height of the head... there is the misure only of the base... has anyone have the tecnical draw of the blu laser head of laserwave and of the galvo&mounts?

due to the red diodes price... i think i will use 636nm lasers... more brightness is nice to use in open space and big rooms...

Horray! Another member who loves solidworks!

My dad loves and uses solidworks, and I'd one day like to learn it

He got a copy from where he used to work, I believe solidworks is like $3000 a license

I am a student, and for a long time, I used a illegal version (Bad me ) But then, when I got certified, I asked Dassalt for a copy of Solidworks to use for personal stuff.

My dad also uses solidworks..I learned to use it almost a year ago and since then everything I find on my path finishes on my computer in a 3d drawing...hahahaha :-) Once you start to use it, you'll never stop!
That's why, when we started to think about a new laser, the first thing I sad was "We have to draw it in solidworks, first!" :-)

It was better if the first thing was: I must pass the info and math exams... and then dray it in solidworks

Sorry for the thread-hijacking.. But I just installed Solidworks one week ago (quite funny to see all the shared interest in software like that ) and I'm starting using it.. However, is there a book someone recommends to just get started and learn the basics but also more advanced designing/drawing?

I learned to use it with the internal tutorials that you can find where the guide is! :-)
