i would definately say making a training video of the basics / other functions in livepro is a GREAT IDEA !!!!........for those people who cannot attend uklem4 like myself, i would even be willing to pay a small fee for such a video on dvd. to be honest i'm surprised pangolin have not done this already, as the software is packed full of features......go for it mark, i'm sure it will be appreciated.

In the beginning there was none. Then came the light - #1 UKLEM - 2007
BUY UK LEGAL LASER POINTER :: NEW - Blue 460nm Laser Pointers
As most of the attendees will be "Old Skool" you do realise that we'll have to pick on you at playtime for being such a suck up to the teacher !!
It'll be a couple of "Wet Willies" for you me laddo !!

General concensus seems to be around an hour. So won't go into too much detail, just enough to get started, might have to cut a few things from the list. I'll see what I can come up with.
Next question: What do you want to cover specifically? Then I can make sure everyone goes away with something useful.
Of course after the hour, if anyone wants more info on a certain topic I can show you more..
At playtime we can all go to the tuckshop for Sherbert Dips and Spangles

For me the order would be;
Introduction to the workspace
Creating Effects
Projection zones
Other stuff.
As a noob to LivePRO I'd like to see "A beginners guide to LivePRO".
But any info that can be passed on on the day will be welcome.

I'd like to add my enthusiasm for a video of the LivePro! demo. It's a complicated program, and though I've seen it demo'd several times (and been experimenting it for over 3 months myself now), I realise that there is always more to learn about it. I'd be quite interested to watch any tutorial you guys put together, no matter how informal.
Please - *PLEASE*... Shoot some video of the presentation and post it to the FTP server!

Hi Mark
Great opportunity for us to learn our way around this software.
I tend to agree with Sof...a beginners guide, getting around the software and then some specifics as suggested would be just brilliant.
Oh and if we could hook up our scanners for a joint spectacular ...even better...
...sounds like a plan
Thanx
