Been there, done that, got the t-shirt & selling it in a garage sale.
yellow line has more gain then green, and is close enough in wavelength they have a hard time killing it, yet still making the 99% mirrors for the green. So all you have to do is add a little mirror, and yellow she goes.

Thanks steve, I remember seeing this at one time or another. The problem with Sams FAQ is information overload, i start reading it and then I dont stop and I get severe headaches. I figured it has to be a gain issue. I remember some where magnets were used in henes to suppress IR lines that would compete with the red. Using magnets enhanced some lines in henes- for get which ones but whatever...![]()
