    Lightbulb Small, non-malevolent thread-jack.. ;)

    Hey Kats -

...quick 'pointer' to THIS thread, in Buy/Sell/Trade - basically, it is a iisting of some industrial-lasers for a buddy across-the-hall, in NY... WHY that *might-be* at-all relevant, here, is cause I am simply-FYI-ing all 'FLEMers' that IF anybody, that is-going to FLEM, 'gets' any of this stuff from Wayne, I will be happy-to let it 'hitch a ride' down, to 'deliver' it to you, in our Sho truck, ...

    ...just a friendly FYI...

Bring the most powerful... We can hook it up by the boat docks and try to catch fish with it. We will catch it fresh... and cooked.

That won't be too bad of a drive then. Figure 4 hours on the Turnpike and you're there!
Sorry cant make the dinner but what kind of whisky should I bring !!
Understand about dinner. No problem. As for the whisky - bring whatever you like to drink. I'm a Captain Morgan's kind of guy myself. (Though a good Godfather Martini makes me smile too!)

I think Clandestiny likes Scotch... Not sure about the others. Basically you bring whatever you want though...

Well, sadly, Mr Dunn isn't going to be able to join us for this time. Maybe next time. However, I am buying a couple new shows from him that I will have just in time for the event

heh - that would-be the GLASS laser we could set-up a nice 'multi-kW raster-scan', and just dry-up the river, then walk-down and collect all the 'now-smoked salmon'...

PS: Update to the 'Bonanza', forthcoming.. (hint: He-Cad!! woohoo!)

Hey folks... Just a short update. I recently received word that one of our members will have a *new* projector to show off at this event. A very *nice* RGB projector at that... Much more power than this person was running before. (Take DZ's projector and triple it, basically!) So we'll have yet another piece of cool hardware to drool over.

No more details just yet - gotta have some surprises after all! But it's going to be a great time. See you all there. (10 days and counting...)

Well since it's the Super Platinum Mega Delux model, it should put out about 4.95mW.

About 1/3 of the "mistery projector"!

Seriously though, this new box should be making north of 1 watt balanced RGB, and it uses 635 nm for red, so it's going to be quite bright.

Unfortunately, there might be a shipping delay, and if that's the case it won't arrive in time. Details will be posted here as they come in. (And no, this is *not* my projector. Someone else got themselves a very nice rig though...)
