This was the first optic in line...

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Well, I had a start at it, I will have to go over the optic arrangement again with you before I can finish a model. I put one of the pictures from the gallery in the background to show how it goes to the XY scanner set so yes it gets tiny! I hope we can get a better model together, another good thing to have up on PL for future reference!

Well, the big pink BeO ceramic tube you were asking about is a Thyratron. It's like a big HV switch. Probably worth $200-$500. Not much else there that's worth anything individually. I think the laser should be sold as a whole item. What's left that is... It'll be worth a lot more if someone buys a replacement tube. Not worth much parts wise.

    OK,
this will never have a tube again,
a person who had it before me ruined it by removing a component, much damage occured during this removal!

Anybody want a pretty Pink gadget?
    cheap...trade???
