Got a RM-3700 and a RM-6600 The 6600 has GPIB and RS232 with Labview where as the 3700 is RS232 only.

Pyroelectric probes are used in the chopped mode only. The one shown in the picture, needs an optical radiation chopper CTX-534, or the like. For example, pyroelectric radiometer probes (RKP-xxx series) from Laser Precision Corp. are provided with built-in opto-mechanical choppers. Those measure power in [W]. I use RK-5100 radiometer with RKP-545 probe, not expensive. It works well. This device is assumed to be provided with the option of electrical calibrating. I haven't tested it yet. However, if so, it would be very cool. The accuracy of measurement would come up to 1% (instead of 5%). The RKP probes supplied with internal choppers on the board, do allow one to measure the power of CW lasers. However, these are not assumed to be useful in working with pulsed ones. I think you should use a radiometer in the combination with one of the RKP probes. Another way is to use a radiometer with a thermopile probe. Myself, I use the pyroelectric radiometer 'cause I love them
