    Default Another Laser-Wave goodie

One more product just in is a diode housing kit. It consists of the housing plastic lens and driver board with analogue modulation. Ideal for DVDRW or Bluray diodes.
The housing and lens is the same as in our 660nm modules - I will test this lens with Bluray and let you all know how it performs.
I have not tested these yet as they have literally just landed with me today but a trial will follow shortly as well as more detailed spec.
For now the brass housing is 18mmx51mm with an adjustable lens bezel.
Price will be £16 inc each UK postage

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Pat the diameter is 18mm and the length is 51mm though there is a lot of empty space at the rear end that could be 'lost' if needed. I have turned one of these housings down to 16mm without any trouble
