Questions about Mamba Black

Hi guys...
i'm a Showeditor user... but i don't like it so much... crashes... difficult use... crashes... problems... crashes... crashes...


i'm looking about Mamba Black... but i have some questions...

1) is Mamba Black simply to use?
2)What about crashes and problems?
3) has it got Dmx support?
4) i work in disco... sometimes i need to build quickly some texts and pictures... is it quickly to build?
5) has it got "live" function for working in disco?

Hey Mr. DJ,

Showeditor is a cracked version of a very old Mamba Black version, V1.61 or something. After that a lot of things are improved in MB.
Don't use this software anymore, Medialas will drag you to court for using this illegal software!!


Here the answers:

1.
Yes, MB is very simple to use!!
You need max. 30 minutes to find out all the basic functions to play a show.
The is an (online) user manual that you can use as well.

2.
In the past MB crashed very often!
My record was 30 crashes in 3 hours. (during show creation)
This is now reduced to 1 crash in 3 hours or something, thanks to Old Grumpy's work.

3.
No, MB has only MIDI support.

4.
Yes, with one mouse click, you can switch over from show playback to instant text playback. It's even possible to display SMS, using the free SMS-to-Laser tool.

5.
MB has a Live function.
You have to assign different frames/scenes (like fans, waves, beams) to different keys of your keyboard. Just hit the key at a beat and it will be displayed directly. Note: this is not done automatically. So, the software can not 'listen' to the music and display a frame/scene.

about showeditor... old version (2006) was a cracked version of mamba.. the new version is a protected copy oh HE LASERSCAN...

and last question... i live in Italy... where i can find Mamba for cheap price?

Hi Audrey.
Sorry but what told is not entirely true.
Indeed, before summer of 2007, Showeditor has been a sort of Mamba cracked version. I know it for sure because I have had that first version and I can guarantee you are right about this.

Then, since summer of 2007, Showeditor become a perfect clone of "He-Laserscan". Both software have the same "father": Herr Erich Hans (Tschosef01@aol.com).
Showeditor 2007-2008 is now a personalized version for Laserworld Co. of "He-Laserscan".

This is the mains screen of showeditor.
Without any doubt it is NOT the same of Mamba Black.

OK, thanks for the update. I did not know this.
A little bit it funny that this Showeditor had cracks of 2 different software programs. A little bit confusing.

Anyway, I'm using a original version of MambaBlack and HE-Laserscan, so I'm not into this crack scene.

Specially my new pussy: QM2000 Basic + Netbox + LivePro.
