    Lightbulb

These are big dippers aren't they? Or "weren't" they. Like I said in your thread Andy, slap a die4drive or one of Rob's drivers on here to make a nice lil analog green.

I use d4drive on one of these and it works very good, I have had it set for 70mW for maybe 50 hours now with no visible decrease in output.

I'm looking for a new not too expensive green. I have been thinking about the dx35, but after reading this I might go for this one. What do you recommend for me? The dx35 is known to put out 80-100mw when slightly overdriven, will this one be "guarenteed" to do the same?

(btw planning on using anthony's driver to power it)

i would go for the aixiz one its a lot more stable.
And in most cases u dont need to over drive the diode to get it to 80-100 mw
And the heatsink is a lot beter in getting rid of any heat then the dx one.
Also diodes are easy to replace on this module

Ofcourse use it with any driver u want analog or ttl

Just send chuck at aixiz an email and tell him i send u.
he wil make u a good offer on this module

I just got one a few days ago. beam divergence is 1.45 for my unit without adjusting the lens. the power out is 50mw after filtering out the IR. Drive current is about .5 amp for 50mw out. Not bad for $65. my unit mode hops like crazy below 40mW.
