    Default Following DZ's Lead...

    hey PL-

    DZ started quite a "movement" i think. for a great casue! our little home away from home here.

    i have a brand new 650nm Red Laser from LaserWave. it is supposed to be around a 500mW. Something is wrong with it though. it DOES lase...however it only gets up to about 50-60mW.

    i have NO time to mess with it and try to fix it. its up for grabs here. make an offer. PM's...on this post, i dont care. it DID lase for a good few hours upwards of 400-500mW. i turned it off turned it back on and it only hits around 50 now. your guess is as good as mine.

    whatever it sells for i am going to donate back to PL. (minus the shipping).

    spec works his tush off for us and spends QUITE a bit of money here. i have made donations in the past and would like to add this to help out a little.

    ok-

    i usually keep my mouth shut when it comes to "drama" here, but i just got ROYALLY pissed the F*CK OFF!!!!

    (without mentioning names)

    i had a PM from someone who questioned me why i sold the laser to Mike when his bid was the same amount. are you kidding me???

    this was meant as something fun, quick, beneficial to US AS A WHOLE and meant as a way to get a little well deserved money into the hands of who makes this whole thing possible...spec.

    i NEVER said this was going to go to the "highest bidder." i had offers or "bids" or whatever the hell you wanna call it HIGHER than what it sold for anyway.

    i chose mike for a very simple fact....he offered $100, i owed him a few favors for past help he gave me and he is who i chose. VERY VERY f*ckin simple!!! i coulda chose him i coulda chose "mophead" i coulda chose my cousin or i coulda not done this at ALL!!!

    it was meant as something nice! NOT to turn into a drama conspiracy theory.

    Your laser, your game... Your donation, and your choice. I for one agree with you and applaud you for following DZ's lead.

    I am also interested to see what Mike does with that laser. I bet it will not be recognizable at SELEM.

    i expect this to be outputting >2 Watts by the time your done with it!! with a beam diameter of .5mm
