    Getting closer!!

    I have a feeling this will be a hands on laser tech shop and get together,

    Who is bringing blinky light projectors?

    I don't have a projector to bring yet.... Although I could bring my loose 473nm cni module if anyone has an rgy that they would like to see whitelighted before they spend the cash on blue

    I really need to get a pcaom... I have all these Argons here that I could turn Into a serious system, with no way to modulate

    Will do! I actually have two at the moment, and I only have plans for one of them - assuming I get my HGM5 working the way I want to. I just don't know yet which one is going to be best. Details in a month or two when I get this mess of electronics and optics assembled and lasing correctly!

    Hey buffo, what's going on with your HGM? I think I remember a while back that you were having some trouble with it back I cant remember what it was...

    If you need any pictures or anything let me know. Mine was modified for CW, and although I didn't do the mod myself I can get you pics of anything you need

    Thanks for the offer, Gus...

    My problem is current control. (Or more accurately, the lack of it.) I've tried the mod that they did on yours, and it didn't work. Evidently there is a slight difference between various versions of the PSU. I need to ring out some voltages on the ribbon cable that connects the front panel to the PSU to figure out what the differences are.

    Fortunately, I have a spare unit that I can test too, just to check my results. But I haven't had much time to tinker lately. Been too busy with work.

    When I get some time, I'm going to go back over everything with a fine-toothed comb and make sure I'm not missing something obvious. If I can't get it working then, I'll post pics and details here...
