These days you can play Asteroids on your laser projector! Pangolin comes with a color version of Asteroids, while Lazymame (which runs on both Pangolin and Easylase USB hardware) allows you to play it in it's original monochrome (white).

Very cool stuf, if you're into retro-gaming!

True, but you can play it as often as you want. Also, you can play it on the side of the Hoover Dam if you so choose. So the extra cost *is* justified, methinks! (After all, we'd end up owning the lasers anyway, right? So what's a little extra money for a controller?)

I'm 99% sure it's only for the QM2000 card. The FB3 doesn't have an SDK. However, let me know if you find out otherwise. I can literally smell my FB3 en-route hopefully in the next week or two

@Soforene: If the financial crisis is hitting you bad, I could always take your QM2000 card off you for a mere few 'quarters'; no wait, how would several genuine British 50p's sound?

Sorry, no FB3 support yet- there is currently no SDK to talk to the hardware. But... a very affordable alternative would be a hacked USB card, and Dr Lava's awesome EzAudDac and custom easylase.dll. This would open up several new doors for custom stuff and be pretty cheap overall.
If an FB3 SDK does become available, I will be sure to add support for it.

OH, and for me it was "old" Half Life (sniper rifle rules) and Unreal Tournament (who can resist using the redeemer during capture the flag)
