I am not sure that is a tuning issue. Looks more like an issue with the... blanking somehow. I forget what it is called... anyone???

any sugestion ? it was @25K pps - scanners are DT40 pro
What scan angle were you running when you took that picture?

Personally, I think the tuning is fine and you're just scanning too wide. The only part of the test pattern that looks bad is the circle, and from the looks of it I'd say that you were scanning way too wide.

Aaron mentioned the color speed offset, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that because the lines at the top of the pattern are dead-center where they belong.

Remember that tuning is only good for a given scan speed. So if you tune your scanners for 30Kpps and then run them at 25K, the test pattern is not going to look right. (The circle will be too large.) In this case I'll bet that the scanners were tuned for either 30 or 40K from the factory.

Can you post a picture of the test pattern with the scanners running at 30K and 8 degrees scan angle or less? That will tell us a lot.
where I can fin instruction how to tune dt40 pro ?
Here is a link to the user's manual for the DT-40's. This will show you which potentiometers are which. For the actual tuning, I suggest you use my scanner tuning tutorial, which is hosted by Dave and Aijii at LaserShowParts.com.

Note that the newer DT-40 amps do *not* have a high-frequency damping adjustment potentiometer. So tuning these scanners is a little different from most other brands. Just ignore everything in the tutorial about high freqency damping. If you end up with undershoot in your pattern, you just have to live with it, because there is no way to get rid of it on the DT-40 amp.
