Hi All.

I known all of u are always in for a bit of fun.

So check out what i found when repairing and realligning a laserworld 800rgy

Ofcourse no suprise there all powers where way off.
But even more shocking.

the fan of the green module was glued and could not even turn.



red power was about 300 mw
green power about 200 mw
so stil missing about 300 mw

Obviously it was working when it left the factory.
In fact, it spun at such a hypersonic speed that the small blades became molten from the friction of the air passing over them with the result that when it was turned off, it glued itself to the casing.

I guess that's what you get when you purchase stuff which is over spec'd by a magnitude of millions ...............

Never happen now. They've put the price up so they can use better umper lumpers.

800 RGY RS has gone up from £2844.10 to £4,531.50!!! (Albeit it now has 640nm red).

That's approaching Kvant money.

You could swap the red out for a 900mw Kvant 640nm at that price increase.

the only thing i realy like about these lasers is the casing.
the rest is crap the lw50 scanners in these wont even do 20k

would probably get them up to3 0k after a proper tune.

the dual red setup is suposed to be 2x200 mw.
but im prety sure these diode are overdriven to get to 200 mw each.
and the green is a low quality module

strange thing is that the green is analog and the red is ttl

yea the price is way over priced even if the new model has a 640nm diode.
but the fact that some idiot glued the fan is even whorse

nevertheless i do also have positive news i found a laser in a laserworld cs-400g that does 450 mw so u could get lucky lol

it's so funny to read stuff from peoples which has no much experiences with lasers....

the RS800RGY costs still 2844 Euros (not £!!!) and this one has still ~650nm Diodes inside.... can't you reed the priceslist correctly?

the other 800RGY projector is a PL-800RGY and this one has 640nm red inside and it costs 4531€ (here too € not £!!)

additional this prices are listprices!! I think no intelligent person sells a laser for the listprice...

And then still it's WAY WAY WAY overprized. Euros or pounds it's too much...
And i agree with LedFreak3D that glueing a fan is absolutely ridiculous.
But i don't know anything about lasers, so you can better ask people on this forum that do if you don't believe me when i say Laserworld is overpriced

One of my first lasers is a Laserworld 250E green, does 130mW ... yeah good deal it's a fucking shame...
