When you see how much red misses the mirrors you appreciate how much is actually in there!

I must admit I'm currently selling it. Its of no use to me for what I want to do although that has nothing to do with the laser quality which seems perfectly good on this one, but more to do with what I'd want a laser for.

    Hi,
I am not normally religious, but feel that a confession is in order, and that this is the right place.........

I bought a Laserworld CS-400RGY laser, and the 2 red diodes died. I looked around on the internet, including this forum to research, and find a solution. I ended up buying some Rohm red diodes off ebay, and fixed it up so it was almost like new.

I fell for the marketing, and bought one of these, which is excusable, a lot of people have done the same ,but wait for it, this is what I feel guilty about......

I came across someone who had the diodes die on the same laser, and offered to buy his, or repair his. I ended up buying it, and repairing it for my own use.

A few months later the diodes have packed in on both lasers again, and I am left with 2 duffer Laserworld lasers!!.

I know I have let myself down buying another, when I knew they were rubbish!, doh!

Anyway, I see someone has had similar problems with the reds dying.

Here's the thread discussing the potential repair/upgrade of these, if any of you have any ideas to help, or it may help someone with similar problems......

Maybe they have seen the light ..... maybe they are changing thier ways

why ? you may ask ....

well i just had an email from them ...... with the dealer pricing ...

and blooming hell .... it well expensive now .... and none of this 2W ( 1.3 garranteed malarky ) it all looks genuine ratings

and a 1.2W RGB projector is retailing at 12,600 euros inc tax

jesus .... i would want 1.2W and a little bit more for that

ok.... dealer pricing is more respectable .... but still expensive and notice that all the cheapy cheap projectors are only being sold until stocks last ...

so it looks as if they want to move into the more respectable high end market and I hope they are now moving into the genuine ratings and genuine prices with genuine quality .... TIME WILL TELL

    so take a look

all the best .... ( bollocks thats blown it )
