Why would you buy a laserworld projector when the Kvant products are better, brighter and cheaper?

According to the pricelist I have, the 1W RGB is Eu 8.5K. I expect the 1.2W version would be a bit more, but still cheaper than the Laserworld "surprise package".

Well, they are cheaper, if you somehow get an export price. But you must live in EU and take in account few trips to Switzerland and you might even get a good deal
In deal list for october they got a 3.5W RGB (which should be a bit brighter than 1W or 1.2W mentioned above) for 5.9K€, of course this is export price and no1 knows what exactly it means.

In conclusion, you might get a good deal only if you live close enough to Switzerland and figure out what they meant with export price .

I doubt Laserworld fit Cambridge Scanners for that price either.

We learned at PLASA that even though the scanners are Cambridge in some Laserworld projectors, the drivers are not... They use their own drivers Bit like owning a Ferrari with a Lada engine in it...

We were at the Laserworld stand (3 PL Members) having a demo of Phoenix and the projector was scanning terribly. We asked what scanners were in it and the rep replied, "This is one of our high end models with Cambridge scanners on our own in house drivers". So the only info I have is what I got from the horses mouth as it were...
